About Cooper Perkins

Cooper Perkins was named for the Topsfield, Massachusetts house in which it was founded in 2002. The original founders had a mouthful of middle-European names so, instead of naming the company after themselves, they decided to name the company after Mr. Perkins, who practiced the art of cooperage in that house almost 300 years ago. Cooper Perkins is now headquartered in Lexington, Massachusetts.
