Robert Shydo

Robert Shydo is a mechanical and systems engineer with experience in a wide range of product markets. He has developed SMA actuated components for the US Navy, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, aviation hardware, and a variety of consumer goods. He is currently focused on developing electromechanical systems relating to automated restraints for shipboard cargo and on industrial process equipment related to semiconductor fabrication. Rob is also highly skilled in the design and mathematical analysis of thermal, structural, and kinematic systems. Rob earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University.
