Gordon Row

Not only is Gordon a 5th generation mechanical engineer, a mechanism and structure specialist, and an inventor on 12 US patents, but he’s also Cooper Perkins’ newest employee. He has 25 years of experience or, as he puts it, “designing stuff non-stop since 1984.” This engineering design experience ranges quite far from a 120-ton high energy physics machine to the intricate mechanism of an insulin pen. He is most proud of the latter; a good part of his career has been dedicated to drug delivery systems, as well as medical imaging. Gordon firmly believes an engineer should be equally as involved with the design process right through to the manufacturing process. He possesses a strong ability to bridge this gap arguing: "why should  one person have all the fun while the other gets all the problems.” He holds a Sc.B. in both ME and EE from Brown University and MS in ME from Northeastern. Gordon is an avid runner and the race director of the annual Groton Road Race. After reading the other bios, Gordon has proudly asserted himself as the most boring member of the Cooper Perkins team.
