Brian Anthony, Ph.D.
Brian is a senior advisor to Cooper Perkins serving as its CTO. He provides vision and direction for Cooper Perkins' consulting product development and in-house technology development. Brian has over 15 years of high-tech product development experience in ultrasonics, robotics, and machine vision with a specialty in Computational Instrumentation. Brian started his career at Los Alamos National Labs developing technology for non-destructive identification of chemical munitions. Brian is the co-founder and former CTO of Xcitex Inc. where he initiated and led the development of products for video capture and motion analysis products. Currently, Brian is a research scientist in the Laboratory for Manufacturing and Productivity and lecturer in Sloan at MIT; he is the MIT director of the Singapore MIT Alliance - Manufacturing Systems and Technology program. Brian holds a Ph.D. from MIT, several US patents, an Emmy, and an unusual appreciation of Russian culture. Brian is a citizen of the People’s Republic of Cambridge, USA. ANTHONY is his surname.
