Chromatherapy is a popular feature in relaxing home spa environments. The Kohler-Color Kinetics WaterTile Ambient Rain is a 21” x 21” lighted ceiling panel that includes four Kohler WaterTile body sprays. The panel mounts in the ceiling of a custom home shower. The user selects either solid colors or a pre-programmed sequence of ‘light shows’, which can also be coordinated to music. The panel incorporates 44 LED modules that can produce an visually smooth light across the translucent panel. The Cooper Perkins team successfully designed the product to withstand all of the environmental conditions expected in a shower environment and met all required electrical, plumbing, and structural building codes.
