Cecropia

The Cecropia ‘Act’ is a unique video game experience that requires a unique design and user interface. Characters’ personalities in the ‘movie game’ are controlled by a single knob to achieve a particular objective in each game scene. Cooper Perkins collaborated with the software developers at Cecropia and an industrial design firm to engineer an enclosure. The enclosure included various video game interfaces, a LCD screen, and a computer housing. Cooper Perkins also designed a completely different hardware kit for operators who want to house the game in conventional video game cabinets. The engineering included robust package design, thermal analysis, a high degree of integration with computer components supply chain, and collaborating with the contract manufacturer.
